Portfolio Manager, Marketing

BIOTRONIK is looking for a Portfolio Manager to join our Marketing Team. The Portfolio Manager, Marketing leads and actively participates in/contributes to the development and execution of strategic marketing plans.
Your Responsibilities
- Understands the methods by which BIOTRONIK Marketing strategically creates and tactically executes commercial marketing for products and services, and can take a leadership role in completing elements of the plan, including optimized life cycle portfolio management
- Demonstrates a solid understanding BIOTRONIK product line, competitive advantages and potential weaknesses, minimizes impact and makes recommendations for change in these areas
- Has functional knowledge of reimbursement, sales, marketing channels and other relevant industry influences. Understands the influence exerted by each and can plan accordingly
- Seeks input from key internal and external stakeholders in an effort to strengthen plans or challenge assumptions - can appreciate the different opinions of various stakeholders
- Has strong and constructive relationships among colleagues in Marketing and other in-house departments and works to make the launch processes seamless
- Uses product planning plan to choose and prioritize projects and can manage multiple intermediate to large projects independently
- Tracks and maintains projects within identified budget, ensuring cost-saving measures where appropriate - can present more than one option for each recommendation
- Develops an understanding of forecasting and obsolescence requirements for product planning manages collateral inventory through distribution partner(s)
- Internal and external colleagues and stakeholders have an understanding of the Product plans and express satisfaction regarding all communications (includes Berlin Marketing)
- Has built relationships with the Sales organization
Your Profile - 5-8 years of commercial marketing experience; preferably in a medical product manufacturing and marketing business.
- Demonstrated ability to understand, interpret, plan and execute effectively in order to overcome technically complex product challenges and choices made by highly educated decisions makers who operate within strong influence networks.
- Bachelor's degree required - MBA Preferred
- CRM certifications considered as a positive differentiating factor

Physical Demands: - This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: - This is a full-time position. Standard days of work are Monday through Friday. Hours of work may vary depending on time zone supported. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel: - Approximately 30% travel required.
