Customer Service Representative

**What you will be doing:**
- Handle all customer phone orders, inquiries, complaints or problems.
- Ensure that all proposals, quotations and customer correspondence is prepared neatly and submitted on time.
- Expedite customer orders and quotations.
- Effectively communicate and interface with all internal and external departments at Peerless.
- Receive, code and process new customer orders and change orders.
- Negotiate with customers, assess areas of dispute and amends contracts when required.
- Coordinate shipping releases.
- Generate correspondence to secure additional customer information or resolve customer disputes.
- Work closely with outside sales managers to service customers
- Maintain files of all documentation in appropriate systems.
- Regular attendance, communication and meeting committed deadlines are all essential elements of the job. These requirements are key to the operation and effectiveness of this position and if not in place have the potential to impair and diminish expected results.
Requirements **Ideal candidate will have:**High School Diploma and prior sales experiences, preferably in a factory or manufacturing environment. Ability to efficiently and accurately enter data into multiple systems. Must be able to communicate professionally with the ability to speak, read, write and understand English. Demonstrated knowledgeable experience in Microsoft office. Experience with JD Edwards software preferred.
