Job Overview:
We are seeking two Developer III professionals to join our team in Columbia, South Carolina. The role involves application systems analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance of complex programs for external facing non-government applications. Candidates should possess strong skills in front-end technologies like Vue.js, Angular, or React, and have a background in computer science or a related field. This position requires onsite attendance at least quarterly, with potential weekly onsite work for local candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate scope and objectives through research to develop or modify complex systems.
- Design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain applications ensuring adherence to organizational standards and timelines.
- Maintain and modify programs; compile and implement application software within budget and time constraints.
- Analyze production systems, recommend enhancements, coordinate implementation.
- Provide expert system knowledge, perform research, and attend meetings to understand and meet business requirements.
- Test modified programs, create test files and data, verify logic, debug, and write relevant documentation.
Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of applications/development, quality assurance, and integration methodologies in various environments (mainframe, midrange, PC/LAN).
- Proficiency in frontend technologies: Vue.js, Angular, React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, AEM, OpenShift, AWS, or related technologies preferred.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well under pressure within a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain effective working relationships.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- At least 4 years of relevant application development and system testing experience.
