$1,000 Sign On Bonus - Pay Rates starting at $21.17-$22.94/hour
Westlake Royal Building Products, a vinyl siding manufacturer in Columbus OH, has a full-time opening for a Truck Driver. This position is responsible for all deliveries between facilities. This position will maintain and coordinate all maintenance necessary on all tractors and trailer.
The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Responsible for all timely and efficient deliveries between facilities
- Maintain all tractors, trailers and related equipment, to include scheduling preventative maintenance work, repairs, etc.
- Assure that all equipment licenses are current
- Remain current on all requirements set by ODOT and ensure that they are aware of new regulations and requirements
- Coordinate with Shipping Coordinator from both plants, the delivery of empty racks to each area
- Maintain all logs pertaining to the use of the tractors, trailers, and related equipment to include mileage logs, maintenance logs, and delivery logs indicating all movement during each shift
- Report any and all accidents to immediate supervisor
- Operate semi-tractor trailers, pick-up trucks, forklifts, and other material handling devices in a safe manner
- Assist in all quarterly inventory duties as assigned
- Perform 6S standards and practices and promote safety
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
QUALIFICATION & SKILL REQUIREMENTS- Valid Ohio drivers' license & CDL
- Minimum of two years tractor trailer driving experience
- Experience with truck maintenance and ability to read and understand vehicle gauges
- Ability to operate forklift equipment
- Good written and oral communication skills
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDSWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to hold, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift, carry and/or move up to 70 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. In addition, mobility to cover 2 facilities (North & South Plant) is required.
WORK ENVIRONMENTThis position works in a fast paced manufacturing facility. Noise level commensurate with large machinery. Ear and eye protection must be worn at all times and steel toed shoes and long pants are required. Temperatures, although maintained, can be effected by outside weather conditions.
