POSITION SUMMARY

The main responsibility for this role is to be the agency's primary contact for clients and prospects. You'll provide exceptional service to accounts with premiums up to $100,000, with some exceptions. This role involves daily interaction with clients, addressing their needs, inquiries, and building strong relationships. Additionally, you'll manage commercial insurance policy renewals within the EBU, handle client account maintenance, and strive to obtain, retain, and round client accounts when exposure is identified. Your approach will be consultative and value-based, in line with our company's core purpose.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • and maintain relationships with clients and carrier partners, ensuring superior service delivery.
  • and efficiently handle service requests via phone and email, including information requests, technical questions, coverage inquiries, risk management resources, and billing.
  • a strong understanding of the agency management system (Applied Epic), carrier websites, products, and coverages.
  • Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel, for various tasks and reporting requirements.
  • manage accounts under $25,000 as the primary contact and collaborate with a Risk Advisor on accounts ranging from $25,000 to $100,000.
  • in new business with the Risk Advisor, working with prospective clients while effectively managing the existing book of business.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

  • 2+ years of commercial lines insurance experience

Computer Skills

  • Microsoft Office applications, with an emphasis on Word and Excel
