POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Managing student learning, in the absence of the regular teacher in accordance with the goals and directives of the school.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (These duties are a representative sample; position assignments may vary.)
- Maintains a positive learning environment for all students and a professional relationship with all staff in accordance with school policy.
- Ensures adequate supervision to assure health, welfare, and safety of all students.
- Implements lesson plans, while ensuring the integrity of academic time and in a manner which motivates students to learn and participate.
QualificationsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (positions in this class typically require):- Education equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree is required.
- Candidate must hold a valid Arizona Substitute Certificate or Arizona Teaching Certificate
- IVP Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
