Deburr Technician


Job Details

Saxon Aerospace is currently hiring Deburr Technicians in the Greater Los Angeles area.



As a Deburr Technician, you will work closely with other assemblers to connect components and construct mechanical products.



Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deburr, shape, form, and finish parts according to documented work instructions and specifications or as otherwise directed
  • Polish, clean, break edges on precision machined parts made of a variety of materials to specified requirements and tolerances
  • Read and interpret blueprints and instructions
  • Self-inspect conformance to quality specifications utilizing appropriate inspection tools
  • Ensure proper completion of all parts paperwork and documentation
  • Collaborate with coworkers to problem solve product and processing issues, actively engaging in the corrective action process
  • Organize, stage, and move materials as required
  • Maintain safe and orderly work cell as well as facility material staging areas



Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years experience using grinders, trimmers, or other deburr tools
  • Ability to use product documentation, schematics, and verbal/written instruction



Working conditions:

  • pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting
  • and handling objects up to 50 pounds



Pay: $45/hr

In addition to hourly pay, qualified out-of-area contractors will receive $166 daily allowance for lodging, $1,162 max allowance per week.



Expected duration is 7 months (possibility of extension).
