Senior R&D Battery Engineer - $120-150k - Ann Arbor, MI
Lumicity is currently partnering with a well-funded series A start-up looking to grow its R&D team as they scale up to a pilot manufacturing plant. The business has a long runway due to its conservative approach to growth and has been relatively very stable considering they're a start-up. The role will entail further developing their next-generation li-ion batteries, reporting to their R&D Manager and leading on the majority of research projects.
The successful candidate will have:
- 3-5 years experience working directly with next-gen li-ion batteries
- Industry experience
- A PhD in Materials Science, Electrochemistry, or a related field
