**Replenishment Buyer**

**GENERAL SUMMARY**
The Replenishment Buyer position exemplifies a high level of proficiency in replenishment buying as well as strong communication skills in collaborating with internal and external partners to deliver exceptional service to our customers.
**Essential Job Functions:**
* Create purchase orders daily with vendor partners based on data review in procurement system for two warehouses within the Harbor Wholesale network based on economic order cycles and product needs
* Achieve established goals in the following KPIs: Ensure data integrity within ERP and procurement system for replenishment of items and vendors
+ Fill rate Achieving a set percentage of in-stock products for customer shipments
+ Inventory turns Striving to maintain an optimal balance between fill rate and stock levels
+ Aged inventory Managing and reducing the amount of overstock inventory in our warehouses
+ Product spoilage Making sure that we have minimal product spoilage based on overstocks
* Reconcile order confirmations from vendors relating to pricing, receipt dates, and expected quantities
* Prepare for promotional or seasonal shifts in demand based on data analysis and collaboration with Category Management team
* Analyze forecast accuracy across assigned items and investigate discrepancies between forecast and actual sales
* Manage the lifecycle of items, inclusive of ramping up inventory to support new product introduction and ramping down to support item discontinuation
* Expedite orders based on unexpected shifts in demand or inventory availability, inclusive of using secondary sources for product
* Collaborate with Logistics and Category Management teams to ensure optimal profitability on vendor purchases
* Build strong relationships with vendor partners
* Complete additional assorted projects as assigned by Purchasing Manager
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**
* Demonstrated proficiency in procurement role; strong preference to food & beverage or hospitality market sectors.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal and external partners.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Suite with Excel at an advanced level; advanced passion for data.
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or other ERP software a plus.
* Knowledge of foodservice, convenience, grocery, or CPG industries is a plus.
**Education and Experience:**
**Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or directly related**
**2-5 years in a direct buying relationship with vendor management and high volume SKU environment w/food and beverage or as closely related as possible.**
