Human Resources Coordinator


Job Details

Our client, a management company in the chemical manufacturing industry, seeks a Human Resources Coordinator to administer and oversee the daily human resource (HR) functions including: determining and implementing HR processes and procedures, recruitment and selection of top talent, assisting Expats with transition to the U.S., assisting with immigration activities, coordinating social activities, and assisting with employee disputes and investigations into employee behavior. The HR Coordinator will assist and report to the Sr. HR Manager. This position is on-site in Concord, Ohio.


Responsibilities:

  • compliance with local, state and federal law as it relates to all facets of the HR function.
  • the hiring process for new employees including recruiting, interviewing, pre-employment screening administration, and on-boarding.
  • and assist as requested in the investigation and resolution of employee behavior that might be in violation of federal and state law or group policy.
  • recommend, update, and implement personnel policies and benefits books; develop and enhance HR processes and practices in order to increase productivity and proficiency across the HR department.
  • and maintain all corporate files in compliance with applicable policies and state and federal laws and regulations.
  • and administer the annual service award program.
  • community service and outreach opportunities for charitable organizations.
  • and manage social functions in Concord, including annual summer picnic, holiday party, retirement celebrations, birthdays, and other special events.
  • with the Manager of Compliance and Governance regarding employee training and development.
  • vital support for all expats including locating and securing housing, obtaining a proper visa status, acquiring of a social security card, and overall assimilation into the US culture.
  • the management training program for employees.
  • coordination with the Law Department, manage the immigration process for all employees.
  • employee files and records and provide records management assistance to personnel.
  • as the backup to the Sr. HR Manager in his or her absence.
  • monthly calendar and administrative tasks including managing invoice payments and new hire on-boarding and offboarding procedures.


Compensation:

$55,000 - $65,000. Excellent benefits package.
