Primary Purpose:
This position is responsible for soliciting, developing, managing, and evaluating strategic partnerships and community programs across the network. This position will work with school and network leaders in school needs assessment to identify potential partnerships and programs to address the strategic plans of the school. This position may also assist in management of Pre-K partnership programs.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Builds and directs processes (including online platforms/toolkits) for creation, implementation, and sustainability of partnership programs accessible to CMO and school leaders.
  • Directs, and is responsible for, all phases of onboarding and management of partnership programs during program life cycles, including developing and widely sharing tools and resources for campus-level program management.
  • Facilitates partner vetting and internal approval processes with Uplift subject experts.
  • Maintains (1) database of existing partnerships across the network; (2) database of potential organizations for partnership and referral; and (3) platform hosting partnership requests and vetting/approval process.
  • Works collaboratively with campus Academic and Operations Directors to help coordinate and facilitate before/after school care partnerships, and partner initiatives and field trip excursions.
  • Manages and conducts evaluation processes that include quantitative and qualitative analysis of partnerships at regular intervals and recommends changes or enhancements as appropriate.
  • Develops, negotiates, and drafts necessary Memoranda of Understanding/site agreements for the Strategic and Community Partnerships department, in collaboration with Uplift's Legal Team.
  • Builds and maintains external relationships; engages in professional networking for continued awareness of best practices in developing field of school-community initiatives.
  • Continuously sources community resources to support needs of Uplift families (i.e. food distributions, financial assistance, legal resources, etc.)
  • Collaborates with Communications to effectively highlight partnerships and successes as they occur over time.
  • Collaborates with External Affairs for grant/donor funds present in partnership programs.
  • In collaboration with other Uplift departments, such as prevention, social counseling, Road to College & Career, etc. participates in developing strategic plans for building partnerships and services to support Uplift initiatives and goals.
  • Conducts professional development and training around effective use of partnerships within the network and in the community as needed.
  • Managers a team of two.

Education, Experience, and/or Certification(s)
  • Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college of university required.
  • Experience Requirements: Applicant should possess 3+ years of experience leading community or strategic partnerships, preferred experience working in K-12 education, with 2+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Special Skills/Certifications: Ability to use effective and persuasive communication skills for relationship building, solutions-oriented, process and data driven, and must demonstrate meticulously detailed planning and decision-making acumen.

Work Environment:
Hybrid work environment. Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout Dallas/Ft Worth and surrounding areas (reimbursement for mileage included). Events may be hosted outdoors or indoors in varying weather conditions.

Starting Salary: $90,000
