**Description**

**Looking for a Cashier to join our team at Simplot Headquarters!**We are looking for an outgoing, energetic, and organized individual, with excellent customer service skills, that loves working in a fast-paced operation. Monday through Friday day shifts, no weekends or holidays!

**Starting at $14-$15/hr. DOE; plus full benefits, free downtown parking**

**Monday- Friday 6:30am- 2:30pm; no evenings, weekends, or holidays!**

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

* Manning cash register and assisting customers in the caf during busy breakfast and lunch times

* Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change

* Operate registers, scanners, scales, and credit card/debit card terminals

* Memorize product locations throughout the store and be able to direct customers or make suggestions

* Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner

* Maintain accurate cash drawer

* Take a tally of the funds in the cash register when required during a shift and produce transaction reports

* Keep the checkout area clean and orderly

**Requirements:**

* Cashier with 1+ year restaurant experience

* Proficient in verbal and written English language

* Must have the ability to work well under pressure and respond quickly

* Must be able to self-motivate and have time management skills

* Adheres to dress code, appearance is neat and clean

* Reports to work on time and as scheduled

* Possess a friendly outgoing demeanor; work well with customers as well as associates

* Follow caf guidelines concerning guest services, food, and physical safety, maintenance, and equipment/space cleaning requirements at all time

* Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pound

* **Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.**
