Veterinary Technician needed for busy 1 doctor practice located in western Massachusetts. Must have veterinary experience. New certified veterinary technician graduates are welcome to apply. Duties include, but are not limited to: Phlebotomy Digital radiographs Dental radiographs Assisting in office visits Preparing and running of laboratory samples Administering IM, SQ, and IV injections Placing IV catheters Restraint Dental cleaning and polishing Assisting in surgery and surgery preparation with aseptic technique Administering and monitoring anesthetics Must be extremely detail oriented and a strong team player. Must be open to learning new procedures and policies and accept criticism when given. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills as this position requires extensive interaction with our clientele and fellow employees to promote a high level of patient care. Must have an outgoing positive attitude. We enjoy joking around and having fun to keep the atmosphere friendly as this is such a mentally taxing field.
