Life Science Outsourcing, Inc (LSO) is a contract manufacturer of medical devices with in-built capabilities to offer clients full-service solutions through our six divisions. Clients rely on LSO to perform all activities required to introduce their products to market, from sourcing to drop shipping.
- In January of 2023 LSO acquired J-Pac Medical (www.j-pacmedical.com), a Medical Device Contract Manufacturer based out of New Hampshire to expand LSOs geographic reach in the medical device arena. Due to the recent acquisition and with over 25 years of growth, we are currently seeking a self-motivated PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE with a good positive energy to join our team at the New Hampshire Facility in Somersworth.
We encourage you to submit a resume with salary requirements.Job Description- Working with the Production Supervisor/Group Leader, provide work cell leadership, guidance, and direction for the purposes of responding to and giving direction to department employees relative to operational and quality requirements.
- Work with supervisor and other team leads to manage and prioritize staffing assignments to ensure customer demand and the production schedule are met.
- Participate as an active member of the production assembly/packaging team, following detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures.
- Complete in-process quality checks and inspections, and complete appropriate inspection reports.
- Complete production and quality documentation, including job travelers and DHR documents.
- Report problems or concerns with quality, processes, equipment, materials and labor to Production Supervisor/Group Leader.
- Work closely with support staff such as Technicians, Engineering, and Materials/Warehouse to resolve issues.
- Complete lot acceptance activities for assigned assembly cell.
- Identify and support continuous improvement efforts with Production Supervisor.
- Sustain and drive lean manufacturing and 5S activities.
- Assist with preparation of annual employee performance reviews by providing input to Production Supervisor regarding respective employee performance.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
- Overtime may be required, and the Cell Leader must be able to work such scheduled hours with his/her team.
