**POSITION SUMMARY**
The Fitness Engagement Specialist facilitates collaborative interactions that transform Anytime Fitness Lakewood into a tailored, needs-based fitness solution for all prospects and members. The Fitness Engagement Specialist plays a key role in the companys overall success by leading the clubs internal fitness promotions and pursuing opportunities to promote Anytime Fitness Lakewoods presence in the business/residential community. A core objective of this position is personal training clientele development along with the delivery of exercise prescription that influences lifestyle change and achieves health improvement goals.
**RESPONSIBILITIES AND DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES**
* Track all inquiries, follow-up calls, sales tours, and guest visits at Anytime Fitness Lakewood
* Master sales process for memberships and results-based personal training programs
* Connect and engage new members with valuable services (Healthy Start, Group Exercise & Personal Training)
* Create a member-centric experience that is friendly and supportive Creates Raving Fans!
* Champion positive outcomes that improve member satisfaction and retention
* Maintain a safe, clean, and aesthetically appealing fitness environment
* Work in partnership with other team members to contribute to the success of the business
* Establish strong relationships with members to enhance their sense of belonging to a community
* Participate in local health fairs in the community to increase fitness center exposure
* Assist with evening, weekend, holiday, and month-end closeouts
**REQUIRED SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTEs**

* Excellent communication and relationship management skills
* Enthusiasm and passion for helping people reach their fitness goals
* Openness to coaching to utilize input and feedback to improve self-development
**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
* Bachelors degree in Exercise Science or related field
* Previous experience in health and fitness/personal training
* Proven track record of high-quality customer service and sales
* Nationally accredited certification (ACSM, NSCA, or NASM preferred)
* CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications (Must be obtained within 60 days of hire)
**Salary**
* *$45,000 per year*
