Job Details

Onsite Monday Friday, 5am 1:30pmDescription: Work with Production Manager and staff to implement/maintain SOPs for all identified activities. Understand and participate in scheduling of products runs. Identify areas for improvement to overall efficiency in the roasting and packaging process. Reporting on key metrics for roasting and packaging lines. Perform new hire trainings (GMP/Safety trainings) Verification of employee training status. Create and foster a positive, cooperative work environment. Support safety by leading kick-off meetings, attending safety meetings and being a safety advocate. Identify and report any safety issues immediately. Participate in recruiting, training, and retaining of high performing team members in the department. Provide coaching and mentoring to enhance individual and team performance. Ensure all sanitation standards are being satisfied, and paperwork is up to date. Escalate machine operation issues as needed to Maintenance and/or Production Manager. Communicate and work with Production Manager and HR on personnel issues to include reviews and employee counseling. Communicate and work with HR on daily time punches and resolve discrepancies. Perform audits and/or verification activities as requested by managers. Participation in Daily testing & Production Meeting.Additional Skills & Qualifications: Previous experience working with manufacturing based technology, processes and principles preferred. This position will have people reporting directly to them.
