JOB DESCRIPTION


  • Execute the processing of bi-weekly multi-state payroll function for 1,000+ employees using UltiPro.

  • Assist manufacturing department with shift and schedule setups and calculations.

  • Point of contract and support for manufacturing managers and employees.

  • Assist with processing non-US payrolls: validate inputs, vacation entries, payroll register review.

  • Assist with managing non-US tickets.

  • Complete journal entries and reconciliations for national and international companies.

  • Ensure timely and accurate receipt and processing of deductions, additional payments and garnishments.

  • Resolve payroll and tax issues quickly, efficiently and with a high degree of customer service.

  • Process daily stock payroll: NQ, RSU and disqualifying disposition.

  • Ensure accurate quarterly reporting by reconciling all federal and state tax liabilities.

  • Build solid partnerships with employees and managers to understand their payroll needs and enhance and streamline processes.

  • Partner with HRIS to advise on requirements for system configuration / projects related payroll.

  • Partner with internal and external auditors for all audits.

  • Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

  • Provide employees with a delightful experience regarding payroll related activities.

  • Adhere to service level agreements.




QUALIFICATIONS


  • 5-years' experience processing payrolls within a multi-state environment.

  • 2 years manufacturing experience.

  • 2 years' global experience a plus.

  • Proficiency in federal, state, and local employment statutory requirements.

  • Substantial experience of wage & hour, payroll tax, and health and welfare in multiple states, including the State of California.

  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles.

  • Flexibility to adapt to a fast-evolving environment.

  • Excellent customer service and team support experience.

  • Experience with a major HCM system required; Prior Ultimate Software experience is a plus.
