Job Title: Trade Marketing Intern, Travel Retail Americas

Location: Internship based in Miami, FL
Full-time internship: 40 hours a week.
Start date: July 1st, 2024
6-month internship with option to extend to complete full year.
MAIN JOB OBJECTIVE:
The Trade Marketing Intern will support the Trade Marketing Project Manager to deliver more profitable, efficient, and tailor-made activations while increasing the visibility and image of the brand all over the Travel Retail Americas Region.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute Trade marketing action plans based on direction provided by the Trade Marketing Project Manager.
- Contributes to the performance of the three categories and in achieving the objectives for the novelties and the significant franchises.
Project Design and Supplier Management:
- Brief designers with validation of Trade Marketing Manager, to create attractive and innovative project designs for small to mid-size projects.
- Review renders and visual layouts before submitting them to the Trade Marketing Project manager for final approval.
- Collaborate with suppliers to achieve the most cost-effective, attractive, and timely productions with budget validation from the Trade marketing Project manager. Ensure suppliers have all assets needed for production.
- Lead shipment of all POSM and semi-locally produced animation elements to suppliers/ retailers.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure all animations are installed on time and ensure we receive installation photos in a timely manner.
- In charge of all the orders of videos/loops for the POS for all animations
- Follow up with retail managers to ensure the correct implementation of merchandising and "retailtainment."
On Counter Events:
- Work with the Trade Marketing Project Manager to source materials/suppliers for on-counter events in flagships and boutiques during key periods where no animation is present.
- Help create instructional videos or presentations for the field on how to activate the counter.
Reports:
- Supported the trade marketing manager in creating 360 customer presentations for large visibility projects.
- Preparation of bi-weekly Newsletter slides.
Other:
- Propose any idea contributing to enhancing the brand on the point of sales.
- Search to maximize customer experience and sales efficiency by suggesting new concepts, processes, or tools.

PRINCIPAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
- Working towards a design, business, or Marketing degree
- Experience in Photoshop or other equivalent design software, a strong plus
- Proactive, capacity to analyze and react quickly.
- Excellent attention to details
- Hard worker, rigorous and strong organization skills
- Strong product knowledge and sensibility to luxury and beauty universes
- Good communicator both verbal and written
- Excellent use of office tools (word, excel, ppt)
- Strong operational skills
- Speaks fluently in English and Spanish (Portuguese and French can be a plus)
