Description
Our Client, a leader in commercial real estate and facilities/asset management is seeking to add a Facilities Manager to its team. This role will work in West Union, SC and works Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm. This is a contract to hire role that pays $26-27.50 per hour. Upon conversion this role offers increased compensation,an annual bonus plan, and a strong benefit package.
Responsibilities:
- Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for various plant operations and projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial efficiency.
- Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, leading monthly meetings to discuss project progress, address concerns, and maintain positive relationships.
- Facility Oversight: Conduct regular walkthroughs of the facility to ensure operational efficiency, identify areas for improvement, and address any maintenance issues.
- Vendor and Contractor Management: Coordinate with vendors and contractors for equipment purchases, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of all employees, including the proper use of safety gear and adherence to lead exposure guidelines.
- Pre-Safety Checks: Conduct pre-safety checks of equipment and work areas to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks before operations commence.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree preferred, with a focus on business, technical, or management areas.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in facility management, with prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and work order systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
