Fives DTS is looking for a Production Supervisor in the Roanoke, IN area.
What You Will Be Doing:
- As a Production Supervisor, you will maintain and lead associates on the floor throughout the plant ensuring all deadlines are met and the highest quality of results are being produced and maintained.
Job Description: - Expected to work flexible hours for absentee coverage as a standard number of hours is not guaranteed per week
- $2.00 differential per hour for 2nd and/or 3rd shifts
- 1st shift: 6:30am to 3:00pm
- 2nd shift: 2:30pm to 11:00pm
- 3rd shift: 10:30pm to 7:00am
- Meets production cost schedule and maintains quality requirements
- Complies with the terms of Local and National Labor agreements
- Implements divisional and corporate policies
- Implements safety and good housekeeping standards
- Frequent contact with others outside the work group
- Trains, develops, and evaluates employees
- Keeps management informed of developments as they occur
- Maintains corporate management control systems including but not limited to audit reports, timekeeping, etc.
- Maintains department records
- Responsible for effective use of personnel, material and equipment in supporting SPQRC initiatives
- Must support plant in achieving Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness and Cost goals
Qualifications: - Minimum of 5years experience
- Leadership interest and abilities required for effective supervision of employees
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures
- Knowledge of basic math
Education: - High school diploma or GED required
- Associates degree in supply chain management or related field preferred
