Role Overview

Gregorys Coffee is seeking a dynamic marketer to join its fast-growing team. The Marketing Coordinator's core responsibility will be to effectively plan, create, and analyze engaging content for all of Gregorys Coffee's social media platforms. This role will be a great opportunity for a candidate to develop their skills as a hands-on marketer and learn from a growing retail business.

Responsibilities

Social Media & Content

  • Social content leadership: plan, develop, execute and analyze content for Gregorys' social channels (Instagram/FB, TikTok, Youtube and LinkedIn).
  • Develop compelling content to engage the Gregorys Coffee community, including images, short form video, and copywriting.
  • Engage in social listening, monitor and actively engage with social communities across all channels.
  • Prepare monthly and campaign data analytics reports and assist with providing assessments and recommendations.
  • Leverage data and analytics to drive better strategy, storytelling, and content creation and optimization for the organization.
  • Stay on top of key industry trends, platform updates, emerging social channels, and best practices.


Other Marketing Responsibilities
  • Assist with store launches by coordinating PR and influencer events to drive awareness and buzz in new markets.
  • Assist in fostering and executing collaborations and partnerships
  • Build exciting internal communication and events to engage our large field team.
  • Execute events and engagement activities for loyalty program members.


Travel
  • The successful candidate will be expected to travel both locally (around NYC and boroughs) as well as nationally to aid in store openings and content creation. Travel will account for up to 10-20% of the role.


Key Experience & Skills Required
  • A post-secondary degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field.
  • A strong understanding of social media best practices and highly proficient with social media platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, as well as programming and planning tools like HootSuite.
  • Experience building graphic designs in Canva or similar software.
  • Strong organizational, project-management and problem-solving skills, with an ability to multitask to a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Results and data oriented: focus on achieving results across all channels aligned with the organization goals.
  • Brand & design: ability to work within brand guardrails, and a strong sense of design.
  • Communication: listen and communicate openly, honestly, and respectfully.
  • Eagerness to work in an agile and ambiguous operating environment of a fast growing company.
  • Strong passion for food and beverage retail experiences.


Compensation

$60,000-$80,000
