**Customer Service Inside Sales Representative Raleigh, NC**
General Shale, Inc., the nations leading brick and masonry materials manufacturer, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative for our Raleigh, NC facility. Successful candidate must acquire an in-depth knowledge of General Shale products and interact professionally with customers in a fast-paced sales environment.
**Responsibilities will include:**
Performance of yard operations and loading/unloading trucks via forklift
Dispatching trucks
Manual handling of product
Data entry in SAP computer system
Develop a working relationship with General Shales outside sales team
Primary focus of inside sales transactions
Occasional sales to contractors and other outside customers
Providing excellent customer service over the phone and in-person
Follow invoicing procedures
Cash sales serviced at counter
**Job Requirements:**
Ability to operate a Hi-Lo/forklift
2-5 years customer service experience; inside sales experience
Associate or Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or related curriculum preferred
Must be a self-starter who possesses excellent PC skills; knowledge of SAP a plus
Strong communication skills, including both written and verbal communications
Shift requirements may vary, but are typically Monday Friday, 7:30am 4:30pm
