**Description**

* Recruit, train, supervise and motivate shipping/receiving personnel to maintain an acceptable level of quality, productivity and expertise in receiving, job issuing, job receiving and shipping of sales orders. Maintain and refine training documents. Develop individual and departmental goals and audit performance towards achievement.

* Work closely with our planning team in the execution of strategies to more efficiently achieve business goals.

* Develop and improve all processes to maintain accurate inventory.

* Execute excess & obsolete inventory purges.

* Ability to load/unload trucks, issue and receive jobs, process shipments and maintain accurate inventory. Accurately process Epicor transactions.

* Experienced in the safe movement of inventory and WIP and training of others in the use of pallet jacks, carts, Fork Lift and other Lift Vehicles.

* Processing Epicor requisitions for all supplies needed to support all warehouse activities and processes to insure available supply.

* Responsible for shipping all products and utilizing specific shipping systems/programs as appropriate including customer specific portals. Effective shipment and receiving of WIP to outsource service providers.

* Ensure compliance with all departmental written procedures and policies. Comply with all local, state and federal agencies (IATA).

* Evaluate and update work instructions, processes and standard operating procedures to reduce warehouse costs and increase productivity and profitability.

* Ensure fair and equitable treatment of employees through positive employee relations and compliance with labor law regulations. Assist with the hiring, reviewing performance and discipline of personnel.

* Process weekly payroll through human capital management system and manage overtime.

* Work on trade compliance & custom documentations for international shipments.

* Maintain a 6S (5S + Safety) program that meets our business goals and achieves maximum audit scores.

* Perform other duties as assigned or as required.

Associates or better in Logistics /Supply Chain Management or related field.

**Experience**

**Required**

People management responsibilities for a team of 5 - 15 shipping/receiving team members.

Minimum of 5 years experience in shipping, receiving or warehouse environment at the supervisory level.
