**Eek Part-Time Community Service Representative**

Coastal Villages Region Fund is currently seeking applications for a Part-Time Community Service Representative in Eek, Alaska. The primary job responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, providing support and backup for the Community Service Manager in the areas of generating awareness of CVRF programs and services, developing and maintaining community network programs, responding to requests from community members, providing administrative support for accounting and filing functions, assisting Anchorage in recruitment efforts, and assisting in marine safety awareness programs.

**Specific Duties Include:**

* Generate awareness of services provided to the community by CVRF

* Develop and maintain a key list of community contacts

* Respond in a timely manner to requests for services from community members

* Distribute outreach materials under the direction of the CSM, Programs Department, and HR Department

* Assure necessary paperwork for quotes, billing, and collections are accurately recorded and sent to the appropriate team members in the Anchorage office

* Provide administrative support for the Mechanic/Welder

* Provide support to the 4-Site Program:

+ Assist in recruitment efforts for all open positions within CVRF and its subsidiary companies

+ Conduct presentations and workshops on the 4-Site program

+ Assist with Youth to Work Program

+ Forward all participant and applicant information to the Anchorage HR team

* Provide support and backup to the CSM, including covering for absences and vacation periods

* Participate in team problem solving and identification of solutions

* Assist with the improvement of marine safety programs

* Other duties as assigned

This position reports directly to the Community Service Manager assigned to that location, with overall supervision by the Communications & Community Benefits Manager.

Starting Wage: DOE Status: Non-Exempt Hourly Part Time

**Requirements:**

A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Previous education or work experience in a relevant field is desired. Applicants should possess the ability to represent the company in a professional manner, both verbally and in writing. Must have basic computer skills, including some knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel programs. Successful applicants will have the ability to learn and teach others, and work well in a team environment. A high regard for accuracy, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines is required.

**Physical Requirements:**

In order to successfully perform the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to effectively remain in a stationary position for long periods of time, operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, communicate with others in person and over the phone, and move about inside the office. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must occasionally lift and/or move in excess of 25 pounds. The employee is required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. This position also requires the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

**Work Environment:**

Generally this position is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and florescent lighting. It requires the regular use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
