Garage Tech Level I - Reefer Fueler


Job Details

Your Role: As a Garage Technician you will monitor refrigerated temperatures and fuels as required and other shop activities as assigned.Key duties may include:

  • Fueling refrigerated units and transferring fuel from tank to units
  • Reporting of any unit problems to refrigeration technicians
  • Complete required maintenance paperwork including vehicle write ups and work orders
  • Maintain awareness and compliance with all current, local, state, and federal regulations such as those governing the handling and disposal of hazardous waste, i.e., diesel fuel
  • Provides technical support to garage technicians when needed
  • Applies lean thinking and tools to eliminate waste in all areas of the position


Role Specifics:

  • Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Hours: 2:30pm - 11:00
  • Work both inside and outside in all weather conditions
  • Extensive standing and/or walking on concrete surfaces


We Need You To Have:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver license
  • Demonstrated aptitude in PC/laptop computer skills
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
  • A high level of quality and attention to detail


We'd Like You To Have:

  • Previous experience performing semi-trailer repairs
  • Desire to be a strong team player working in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid CDL
