The **LAUNDRY & HOUSE ATTENDANTS** essential purpose is to maintain the cleanliness, order, in safety of public areas, fixtures, and furnishings, and provide support service to other housekeeping staff. To also ensure a continuous supply of clean and high quality terries and linens to hotel.
* To ensure all guests requests are attended to in a timely and professional manner by using hot sauce. All calls must be assigned to appropriate attendant in completed within 15 minutes.
* To satisfactorily perform routine cleaning tasks in public areas, including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, and glass cleaning.
* To provide Room Attendants with all necessary Room cleaning supplies towels and linens for the day.
* To remove and handle, as directed, soiled linen in trash from Room Attendants carts.
* To perform support services in rooms as directed, including carpet spotting, mattress churning, furniture moving, window washing, in detail cleaning normally performed by Room Attendants.
* To assist other housekeeping staff, as directed, to complete their work
* To follow all policies and procedures of JC resorts LLC
**JOB KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATIONAL LEVEL**: Able to understand English, and to follow simple verbal instructions. Able to read and understand chemical labels. Previous hotel experience preferred.
**WORKING CONDITIONS**: Spends approximately equal amounts of time in/outdoors. Bi-level structures. Extensive facility. Indoors: works in temperature controlled, clean, and well-lighted offices, guest rooms, and public areas. Outdoors: May be exposed to weather conditions in unsheltered areas. May work on wet concrete and uneven tile. Moderate exposure to hazardous substances and fumes. Possible exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**: Stands and walks moderate to long distances throughout shift. Bends, stoops, and reaches to perform routine job tasks. Routinely required to move objects weighing up to 40 lbs. over moderate distances. over short distances, using appropriate hand trucks and carts. Flexibility and good reflexes required, if needed to operate electric cart. Frequent use of stairs, daily.
