Description Job Summary:

This part-time position is responsible for effectively assisting food and beverage services and execution of regular bistro hours and events by way of set-up, service, clean-up, clear communication and teamwork while maintaining the companys standard for excellence. This position coordinates with the Food and Beverage Manager.

Responsibilities Include:

* Communicate with guests about their order in a friendly and sincere manner

* Provide a friendly experience for every customer, upholding hospitality standards

* Interact with other service and cooking staff to ensure speedy and effective operations so guests receive their food as quickly and accurately as possible

* Prepare dishes in kitchen for certain shifts as needed

* Handle food carefully and responsibly, following safe food handling practices.

* Maintain a professional appearance and mannerism in accordance with dress code

* Set up buffets for events with food presentation standards and practices in mind, ensuring safe food handling

* Run food from the kitchen to bistro or event room

* Adhere to all applicable laws when serving alcohol

* Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures

* Maintain positive and professional attitude

* Clean kitchen and event space after event ends and assist with food storage and other closeout tasks

Position Requirements **Qualifications:**

* Carries a valid Louisiana Responsible Vendor permit

* Professional and personable personality

* Reliable transportation

* Must be able to lift 35lbs unassisted

* Available to work weekends and evenings
