Job Details

A Fee-Based RIA, Nationally Renowned as a Fastest Growing Privately Held Firm three years in a row, is looking for exceptional and ambitious Financial Advisor to join their growing team! Provided with a pipeline of qualified prospects and referrals, they will create new client relationships and work collaboratively with a team of trusted fiduciaries, Relationship Advisors, Financial Planners, Operations and Client Service Specialists, to ensure sophisticated needs are met while maintaining compliance. The ideal candidate is energetic, personable, and possesses an inherit ability to connect with others, building relationships quickly. Initial duties include performing 1st, 2nd and 3rd calls to close the prospect opportunities. Personal prospecting is encouraged as well.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with qualified prospects and referrals on a regular basis via phone, in person, and email,
  • Client acquisition, close ~$40MM per year of new business
  • Work collaboratively with a team of Relationship Advisors, Financial Planners, Operations and Client Service Specialists to build customized financial plans tailored to the clients' needs

Qualifications:

  • CFP or ChFC; Life and Health Licensed; Series 65
  • 5+ years' experience in Financial Planning, Insurance, Investments, Annuities, & Tax required
  • Demonstrated track record of closing new business and sales
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, interpersonal, and management skills
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite & CRM experience required
  • Personable attitude and willingness to build relationships with prospects
  • Ability to explain complicated financial concepts in a comprehensive manner
  • Familiarity with interpreting financial data (Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, taxes) preferred
  • Constant learning mentality. Ability to learn and retain a wide variety of subject matter
  • Team players willing to take initiative to help when needed
  • Self-starter who does not need to be micromanaged/ability to work independently
  • Problem-solving/troubleshooting ability will be necessary
  • Ability to prioritize and seek assistance in determining task priority
  • Willingness to take initiative and proactive follow up with clients
  • Ability and willingness to adapt to changing environment
  • Able to follow and adhere to process standards
