This is a full time position, (but we will consider part-time). We have just moved into a brand new clinic, so this is a beautiful working environment with ocean views from the treatment area. The prospective candidate will be proficient and responsible for: greeting clients, reviewing paperwork and estimates, pet restraint , placing IV catheters, drawing blood samples, taking X-rays, calculation of drug doses, inducing anesthesia (RVT only), monitoring anesthesia and recovery after surgery. This individual may be asked to work the front desk on occasion, as well as answering phones, taking payments, filling prescriptions, and making appointments. A bright, cheery attitude and at least 1 year of experience in a companion animal hospital is a requirement of this position. We provide a supportive environment to learn if you are at an entry level technician proficiency. IF you are a seasoned veteran and you skill level is exceptional, you will be compensated accordingly. TEAM PLAYERS ONLY AND NO DRAMA.
