Townsend Engineering is hiring a full-time licensed Civil Engineer who is eager to join a team of dynamic professionals in Davenport, IA. Townsend Engineering's areas of focus are on water, wastewater, drainage, subdivision design, transportation, and structural engineering projects.
As a Civil Engineer you will handle civil infrastructure projects, preparation plans, and specifications for bidding for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D design software
Iowa and Illinois PE licensure preferred
Experience with site design, grading plans, and storm water detention design
Job Duties:
Perform technical and feasibility studies including site investigations
Adapt designs to changing circumstances while maintaining schedules and budgets
Inspect facilities or sites to determine if specifications or standards have been met
Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor to determine project feasibility
Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, or other topographical or geologic data
