Cage Shift Supervisor


Job Details

Directs and supervises the operations of the Cage department during the assigned shift.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains accurate accountability for all funds assigned.
  • Handles customer complaints.
  • Ensures all Cage Cashiers are following proper policy and procedures as stipulated by the casino and by the Cage department.
  • Tracks and investigates all overages and shortages.
  • Works with other department managers and supervisors on a regular basis to ensure enforcement and adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as, to ensure compliance to the policies of local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in a timely, fair, and objective manner.
  • Servicing all casino departments.
  • Servicing and supervising front line cashiers.
  • Key control.
  • Thorough knowledge, understanding and implementation of Reg. 6-A.
  • Trains employees.
  • Aware of all promotions (i.e., redemption procedures/limitations/restrictions, etc.).
  • Ensures that all business surfaces (i.e., counter-top) are cleaned during shift.
  • Cashing checks - servicing customers. Safe keeping.
  • Answering phones with greeting and name.
  • Knowledge of Soft Count
  • Keno fills.
  • Jackpots and fills.
  • Additional duties, assignments or priorities as directed by Management.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must have a Nevada Gaming Registration.
