Job Summary

The SBA Manager develops and executes business plans aligned with management objectives and directs the generation of sales opportunities. Ensure all SBA eligibility, regulations and underwriting guidelines are followed. Reviews loan quality and oversees process.


Essential Job Functions

Generates and manages the bank s SBA commercial real estate, SBA commercial & industrial loan portfolio to meet the targets.

Review eligibilities of SBA loan requests, borrowers financial status, credit and property evaluations, credit histories, corporate financial statements and other relevant financial information to determine feasibility of granting SBA loans

Reviews SBA SOPs, bank credit overlays to ensure there are no credit violations.

  • the SBA team members have consistent updated SOP training and are knowledgeable about SBA processing, underwriting and closing requirement.
  • CAMs before submitting to CAG and answer questions from Credit.
  • sure SBA loans can be funded within the time frame.
  • required documents and answer questions from SBA desk audit and other audits related to SBA loans.
  • quarterly SBA PARRiS report to ensure Bank s rating not to exceed medium risks.
  • payment past due loans and take required actions to protect the guaranty.

Supervisory Responsibility

Managing and directing the work of staff; leading the assessment and training of staff members - may be making recommendations on the hiring, termination, advancement, promotion, or any other employment status change of direct reporting staff.


Knowledge:

Advanced level of work experience, knowledge and training in all SBA loan servicing activities and terminology, including SBA Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial of data.

Knowledge of packaging, originating, and underwriting SBA loans.

Advanced knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations, and other Bank lending policies

The ability to:

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Degree/Master s Degree or equivalent.
  • years of commercial real estate and SBA loans.
  • years of business development and/or supervisory experience.
  • commercial credit writing experience.
  • strive to increase customers deposit business within the Bank.

Consecutive Absence Requirements

The incumbent of this position must satisfy a 10-day consecutive absence requirement on an annual basis.
