Day-Porter - Commercial Cleaner Populist Cleaning Co Manchester , MI US Posted 2 weeks ago Populist Cleaning Co. is looking for a **full-time Day Porter** for one of our customer's business locations in the Tecumseh area. We are always seeking exceptional people who share our love for the customers we serve and the janitorial work we do!
Working hours are Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, $14 hr to start, $14.50 after 90 days.

Populist Cleaning Co Responsibilities
* Perform various cleaning duties (i.e., vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, wiping tables, etc.)
* Cleaning and restocking restrooms and kitchens with paper products and soap
* Gather trash and recycling throughout the facility for removal
* Identify opportunities for improvement and communicate to a Populist building lead or manager
* Speak up if you see potential safety or maintenance issues on a customers property and communicate them to a Populist Manager.
* Perform services to established standards and ensure the clients facility is locked and secured when you finish and leave
* Carry out special requests for customers as requested by a Populist Manager
Qualifications
* Ability to meet physical requirements (i.e., lift over 5 pounds, repetitive bending, lifting, and reaching, standing, and walking for extended periods)
* Clear and professional communication abilities with great attention to detail
* High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
* Ability to pass a criminal background check
