**Job Summary** : Under broad supervision, receives, stores and issues materials, equipment and other items. Performs manual and clerical tasks involved in the distribution of supplies and materials. **Job Specific Duties** : Under close supervision and according to established procedures, receives and fills automotive parts requests at a warehouse parts counter. Orders automotive parts to maintain warehouse inventory and organizes stock in a logical manner. Orders non-stock automotive parts on contract, obtains competitive bids when necessary, and follows agency and state purchasing guidelines. Assist the Motor Pool Supervisor with office duties, record keeping, surplus equipment, and other duties as assigned. * One year of experience at the lower level Supply Warehouse Clerk 2 (FES011) or position equivalent.

* Note: Some positions require possession of valid driver's license.

* Demonstrated experience ordering, storing, and/or issuing automotive parts.

* Demonstrated ability to read and interpret parts manuals, computer printouts and other related documents.

* Ability to maintain accurate records and complete necessary reports and forms needed in the procurement, storage, issuing and inventory of automotive parts and supplies.

* Possesses basic math skills used in space allocation, calculating appropriate quantities, discounts, materials inventory and completing reports.

* Possesses the ability to receive and comprehend verbal messages.

* Demonstrated ability to present facts, ideas and messages in a clear and organized manner.

* Possesses the physical strength and agility to bend, lift heavy objects, climb and stand for long periods of time and possesses the stamina to perform repetitive tasks.

* Displays a high level of commitment toward work and a high standard of ethical conduct.

* Ability to adapt to changes in priorities, procedures and processes.

* Maintains a positive view of self and displays a professional image.

* One year of experience receiving and filling automotive parts requests.

* Possession of a valid Driver's License.

* Knowledge of vehicle/equipment parts and supplies necessary to effectively perform and understand the duties of the job.

* Demonstrated experience maintaining a warehouse, inventory, and vendor records.

* Ability to multi-task and prioritize work.

* Uses imagination to develop new insights into problem situations, applying innovative solutions and negotiation skills for best results.
