One of the nation's largest distributors of Kohler Generators and Power Systems, is seeking a Generator Technician to join our expanding team based in Seaford, DE area .
If you are highly skilled in troubleshooting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customers' generators, then you may be just who we need!
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform preventative maintenance on standby generator systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair gas and diesel engines.
- Troubleshoot electrical circuit boards.
- Troubleshoot complete electrical systems.
- Work with customer on a one-on-one basis.
- Complete and submit work orders and reports.
- Prepare accurate quotes for repairs.
- Maintain truck inventory.
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Vo-tech school or Military training, a plus.
- John Deere, Cummins, and/or Caterpillar engine training is preferred.
- Training on Automatic Transfer Switches.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
