Job Details
This is a 6 month contract position in Brownsburg, Indiana. It is fully on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the EH&S Program
- Develop, implement, and enhance training programs for employees on EH&S practices.
- Ensure compliance with occupational/industrial safety regulations and standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend corrective actions to mitigate hazards.
- Monitor and evaluate workplace conditions to identify potential hazards or risks.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement safety protocols and procedures.
- Investigate accidents or incidents to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding EH&S policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3-10 years of experience in EH&S management or related roles.
- Strong understanding of occupational/industrial safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
Preferred:
- Experience with radiation safety or health physics.
- Knowledge of chemical safety and waste disposal procedures.
- Experience in training others on EH&S practices.
