**Procurement Buyer - Telecom**

As the procurement buyer - Telecom, will be working with the Telecoms team to execute spends against CAPEX and OPEX budget. You will also be responsible for evaluating invoices for accuracy. - Additional job duties will include producing reports for management showing telecom expenditures for their areas; Coordinating creation of quotes; Creation of Purchase Requisitions, etc
****Essential Functions****
* Serve as the primary interface for data and voice circuit ordering for Patterson
* Periodically obtain circuit quotes in a timely manner based on validated customer requirements
* Understand and interface with business partners regarding service order form Terms & Conditions, ensuring circuit requests meet and comply with all Patterson polices and guidelines
* Order, budget and track all open wireless/voice/data circuit requests and drive timely installations
* Generate and deliver weekly consolidated status reports for procurement and IT leadership
* Accurately document all circuit information to include location, cost, and circuit details
* Audit utilization of active circuits, cancelling or disconnecting unused circuits
* Assist in supplier invoice auditing and inventory management
* Managing the RFI/RFP process that includes organizing and coordinating information and requirements; planning, arranging, and meeting schedules; monitoring results
* Take lead navigating the business unit and external supplier through the sourcing process.
* Process invoices for payment
****Job Qualifications****
**Required Qualifications**
* Bachelors Degree, or relevant experience or other related field or minimum of 3+ years of experience
* 1+ year of project management experience
* Understanding of basic service contracts
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities
* Ability to escalate problems for any support needed for problem resolution
* Ability to coordinate with geographically dispersed support and engineering group
* Ability to multi-task
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Telecom sourcing experience
* 2+ years negotiating service contracts
* Familiarity with Master Telecom Service Agreements
