Reporting to the Director, Customer Experience Mining, the Technical Sales Representative Shovels position has accountability to defend and grow the Expanded Mining aftermarket products and services sold to an assigned customer base. Using a consultative selling approach, this person will build profitable long-term customer relationships by selling products and service to support the management of the customers fleet, consequently maximizing productivity and reducing down time and cost per hour. They will be responsible for retaining good customer relationships, supporting customer machines and providing a positive Customer Experience.

* Responsible for regular customer interface and building strong customer relationships at all levels.
* Identification of growth opportunities and the ability to leverage the strength of the organization to provide an appropriate customer solution.
* Liaison with Finning Parts Department to ensue delivery of the necessary parts and components based on your customers required dates to be on site.
* Work with your customer to create a plan for every outage, which will be utilized to prepare accurate and timely forecasts. Working closely with supply chain you will utilize this forecast to proactively identify parts constraints or additional opportunities
* Must develop and maintain open lines of communication with all supportive departments
**Qualifications:**
* Seasoned HET or have significant mechanical experience
* Minimum 5 years experience in a customer service role
* Previous sales experience is an asset.
* Mining background
* Strong communication, organizational, time management and problem solving skills
* Highly flexible with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Self-starter and ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
