Description

Seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of vehicles. This role ensures efficiency and safety, offering competitive pay, benefits, and a $1000 Sign-On Bonus after 90 days.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance on diesel-powered vehicles: inspections, oil changes, brake adjustments. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on various vehicles. Conduct thorough inspections to proactively address potential issues. Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize and complete repairs promptly. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts usage. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Assist with other tasks to support operations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably in fleet maintenance. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components. Ability to use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair vehicle issues. Class B CDL preferred but not required. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Willingness to work 2nd shift. Must lift and move heavy equipment as needed.
