Billing Specialist

Description
The Billing Specialist plays a key role in ensuring accurate and timely billing, contributing to the overall financial efficiency of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process all invoicing, including but not limited to Time & Material, Planned Maintenance, Fixed Fee projects as well as Project and AIA
- Ensure that each invoice meets ARC's internal requirements and had obtained proper approval
- Generate and analyze necessary reporting to verify that final invoicing figures reconcile with project documentation
- Review all invoicing prior to distribution to confirm that all remittance information is accurate and customer instructions are followed
- Collaborate with AR Collections and Billing Specialist to assist with timely collection of all open receivable balances
- Work with Service, Project and Sales team to ensure timely invoicing and that all monthly cutoffs are met
- Work with Accounting team on year-end audit
- Other projects as necessary
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High-level problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage shifting priorities.
- Understand the nuances of a Union environment
- 5 years experience in a similar role (preferred)
- Spectrum / Field Connect experience (preferred)
