Title: A&D Sales Rep, Commercial
Location: REMOTE/HOME OFFICE: Indianapolis, IN
Pay: Competitive Base Salary + Bonus and Lucrative Commissions Plan
Our client is a leading distributor of wholesale residential and commercial building materials who is adding this position due to their rapid growth over the last 5 or so years.

- Acquired 2 new companies roughly 5 years ago to enhance the offerings and services they provide their clients and looking to continue to make acquisitions that make sense for the company.
Position Summary
- Goal is to be responsible for all Architecture and Design sales activities for Commercial side of the industry. Follow up/follow through on assigned projects in the residential sector in the territory.
- Leverage network in the A&D community to help advance revenue and reputation in the area by driving specifications and product awareness through them.
- Present product demonstrations to potential customers to include their features, benefits, and new products that will be beneficial to them.
- This is an emerging territory for the company with substantial potential business and the opportunity for this role to eventually lead the region.
- Reports to Regional Manager.
- Opportunity to eventually build and develop this region as well as build a team to support the growth of the region.
Skills/Requirements
- Bachelor s degree preferred or equivalent experience in Interior Design.
- 2+ years outside B2B sales experience with proven track record of sales success.
- 2+ years customer-facing B2B sales experience preferably in the building materials space.
- Knowledge of the greater Indianapolis markets and key players in the A&D community.
- Highly motivated self-starter who can work autonomously and in a team environment with excellent follow-up skills.
- High level of integrity and commitment to doing what is right and fair for all involved.
