We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Insurance Billing Representative to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely billing of all patient insurance claims.
Responsibilities:
Process and submit insurance claims electronically for Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross and all commercial insurances.
Review and research denied claims and ensure timely corrections.
Interact professionally with patients, families, and other departments to obtain accurate account information.
Maintain a strong understanding of billing regulations and procedures.
Assist colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Prior experience in medical billing preferred
Experience with electronic billing systems
