Our client specializes in handling complex litigation matters across a variety of practice areas, including commercial litigation, business litigation, malpractice/liability defense, and construction law, among others. Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with 3-8 years of litigation experience to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in complex litigation and a demonstrated track record of success in handling a variety of cases. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys a hands-on role and is looking to take on challenging and diverse legal matters.


Responsibilities:

  • Handle a variety of complex litigation matters, including commercial litigation, business litigation, malpractice/liability defense, and construction law.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Assist with discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior associates to develop case strategies and achieve successful outcomes.
  • Manage caseload and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.


Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Missouri Bar (or ability to waive in) is required.
  • 3-8 years of experience in complex litigation, preferably at a reputable law firm.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to run their own files and work independently.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work product.
  • Proven ability to handle a fast-paced and challenging work environment.
  • Federal clerkship experience an asset.
