- Hours: NOC shift 2x12 hrs/wk (7PM-7:30AM) and remaining hours split into 2x6 hrs/wk. (6PM to Midnight)

- Supervise nursing, support staff and patient care on the 24-Bed Medical Surgical Unit
- Provide direction, mentor, manage, and develop night shift techs/nurse aides. Perform Human Resources responsibilities: performance reviews, recommends hiring, compensation changes, promotions, corrective action decisions and terminations.
- Coach and develop team member accountability, clinical skills, and performance.
- Develop and maintain effective intra- and inter-departmental relationships. Facilitate positive communication with medical supply companies.
- Evaluate the quality of patient care, collaboration with unit and organization resource people. Ensure policies and procedures are in compliance with those of the medical center, nursing department and regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate with unit manager on ongoing process improvement.
- Serve as a clinical resource contact for patients, families, nursing staff, other health care members and external agencies.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Degree in Nursing
- Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member works
- 3-years in inpatient nursing unit environment
- interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills necessary.
