Job Details
This is a direct hire, permanent role with our client based in Florida. No sponsorship is available, and candidates must be willing to travel on-site 2-3 times a year.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent expertise.
- CISSP or similar high-level security certifications (e.g., CCSP).
- Profound understanding of AWS security principles and optimal practices.
- Preferred experience or certifications with AWS security utilities like AWS IAM, AWS Security Hub, Guardrails, etc.
- Familiarity with security utilities such as IDP, CASB, DLP, email management, MDM, SIEM/SOAR, and vulnerability management systems.
- Preferred proficiency in Power Automate, PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages for automation or task enhancement.
- Knowledge of industry standards, frameworks, and regulations such as CIS, NIST CSF, and PCI.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong skills in initiative, research, documentation, presentation, and investigation.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, configure, refine, manage, analyze, audit, document, and cross-train on a range of cybersecurity systems, software, and processes, encompassing IDP, CASB, DLP, email, MDM, SIEM/SOAR, AWS security utilities, scripting, IAM, and vulnerability management.
- Develop and uphold cybersecurity policies, protocols, and benchmarks.
- Monitor, analyze, and enhance security systems to detect and deter potential security breaches.
- Conduct regular security audits to ensure adherence to standards and regulations.
- Maintain 24x7 availability for participation in security incidents.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to identify and resolve security-related issues.
- Provide training and assistance to employees on best cybersecurity practices.
- Exhibit strong leadership in fostering a positive and secure culture within the team and across the organization.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
