We are currently recruiting for the position of:
Building Maintenance Mechanic - Roseville, CA
Hiring pay range: $20.23-$30.28
Job Summary:
The Building Maintenance position is responsible for themaintenance and repair activities for the Save Mart Distribution Center, toensure that the facility and equipment are maintained at the highest level ofoperational efficiency and safety. Repair material handling equipment and keepsphysical structures maintained using hand tools and power tools. TheMaintenance role is required to provide exceptional customer service anddevelop positive working relationships with internal and external partners.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on forklifts and pallet jacks
Replace light bulbs
Participate in general cleaning, painting, and repair work
Perform touch up and finish painting
Make minor carpentry, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing repairs
Perform work according to standard procedure and by buildings operational schedule
Set up and tear down chairs, tables and equipment in meeting rooms, and function rooms
Follow all applicable safety rules and procedures
Report work accomplished orally and on work order in Corrigo
Use hand tools and power tools in making minor maintenance repairs and maintaining grounds and walkways
Perform other duties

Requirements (Knowledge,Skills and Abilities):
Strong overall knowledge of forklift and pallet jack repair
Knowledge of maintenance, to include basic plumbing, electrical, hydraulic, painting, flooring repairs, drywall repairs, and carpentry work
Moderate computer skills (Excel, Word)and use of general office equipment
Strong communication (written and verbal) skills
Must be highly functional in a team environment and have strong cooperation and team building attributes
Thorough knowledge and experience to safely operate a wide array of hand and power tools
Must supply and maintain hand tools and power tools to accomplish daily duties
Excellent Customer Service skills with the ability to work independently, with flexibility, and self-reliance
Ability to work effectively with deadlines/timelines on multiple projects, with strong organizational and time management skills
Demonstrate an eagerness to learn and take on new tasks and challenges
Education: High School Diploma (or G.E.D.)
Experience: at least 2 years of related building maintenance experience
Physical: Thisposition requires frequent physical movement, to include standing, sitting,bending, stooping, walking, climbing, kneeling, reaching, handling androtation. Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling may be required of objectsand/or equipment. Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.; occasionallyrequired to lift greater than 75 lbs. Must be able to work at heights utilizingladders and lift equipment. Must be able to work in temperature extremes from30F to 110F
