Genki Sushi USA, as the premium family sushi restaurant in Hawaii, is seeking experienced Sushi Restaurant Manager candidates to step-in at our Kukui Grove Lihue Kauai Store. After completing an orientation period, the candidate will step-in to lead the store and existing trained staff.
**Responsibilities****:**
* Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant for both FOH and BOH
* Hire, train and manage all staff
* Ensure all goals are met or exceeded for sales, cost of goods, employee retention, customer service, safety and sanitation
* Ensure compliance with DOH and HIOSH regulations
**Minimum Required Qualifications:**
* 3+ years of active and current Back of House - Food & Beverage (Restaurant) experience including; food preparation and cooking.
* 3+ years of active and current Front of House - Restaurant customer service and serving experience
* 3 years of Management or Supervisory experience in a Restaurant setting with work shift scheduling, cost of goods management and employee counseling
* Excellent knife handling skills, rated 3 on a scale of 1-4, with 4 equivalent to a master chef level.
* Possess current documented certification for safe food handling from ServeSafe or HI DOH
* Tuberculosis (TB) clearance certification
* Working knowledge of and compliance with DOH, OSHA and HIOSH regulations
* Available to work full-time any day of the week, for all shifts
* Highly motivated individual with the ability to lead, and quickly comprehend and accurately apply directions
* Willingness to relocate when needed to support the performance of other stores.
