Catering Coordinator

The Catering Coordinator requires you to be an outgoing, self-motivated and extremely coach-able individual, and is primarily responsible for helping to facilitate all Catering efforts, including deliveries and additional distribution points. This is executed by promoting vision, policies, and procedures. You must also be highly perceptive and flexible in your interactions with customers, with the ability to accurately read each situation. It is also important that you have excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to easily establish rapport with a diverse range of people. The Catering Coordinator will report to the Catering Director, and will assist in Operations as needed. A flexible schedule is required. The Catering Coordinator is considered a Leadership Position.

Commensurate on availability, experience, and years of service.
Schedule: Full-Time.

Morning/Daytime or Evening/Nighttime Shifts. (5:30am-11:30pm)

About this Position: Team Lead/Leader Catering Coordinator

Team Leaders are the entry/mid-levels of leadership within Chick-fil-A. As a team leader you are the person in charge of the daily operations of Chick-fil-A. You are responsible for ensuring our guests receive the quality food and industry leading customer service that has come to be synonymous with the Chick-fil-A brand. The Leadership Team demonstrates and executes the fundamentals of the Chick-fil-A brand including our CORE 4 model, Winning Hearts Every Day Strategy, Industry Leading Food Safety Processes, and so much more. As a team leader you will also have an opportunity to grow within the company. Leadership Development is a core part of our business strategy, and you will have the opportunity to become a Director as you journey through our Pathway to Leadership.
Requirements:

Experience as a leader or in a leadership development course.
Proven ability to lead in quick-paced environments as part of a team.
Basic computer competency.
High School Diploma or Equivalent Certificate.
Must be comfortable using a POS system and other ordering technology.
Must be comfortable using various pieces of cooking and service equipment.
Ability to multitask without direction.
Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
Ability to work outside for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift at least 25 pounds without assistance.
Ability to work at a quick, yet efficient pace.
Team-oriented, adaptable, dependable, and strong work ethic.
Positive attitude.
Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and leadership.
Customer Service-Oriented.
Responsibilities:

Communicates employee performance and policy/procedure violations to the Leadership Team.
Works with the Leadership Team to ensure appropriate daily restaurant staffing levels.
Must be an excellent coach, communicator and team builder.
Achieve tactical business results through focus and action on daily and hourly objectives and tasks.
Maintains a positive working relationship and treats all employees with respect while providing them with direction and feedback.
Serves as subject matter expert for all tasks and processes.
Responsible for inventory & facilities management.
Complete understanding of each key position in their area of responsibility.
Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position which includes, but is not limited to standing for up to 10 hours and lifting up to 50lbs.
Use our CORE 4 model to serve guests: create eye contact, share a smile, speak with an enthusiastic tone, and always say my pleasure.
Operating the POS system and other order taking technology at the front counter, in the drive-thru cockpit, or outside in the drive-thru.
Operating various pieces of cooking and service equipment.
Look for opportunities to stock or clean when not serving a customer.
Following the proper process for the position you are assigned.
Checking for product quality and consistency.
Assist leadership in executing opening or closing procedures.
Assisting in all team member positions throughout your shift as needed.
Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items.
Complete all tasks assigned beyond the job description, if necessary.
Complete all tasks assigned to you by the leadership team.

Duties:
Ensure all catering orders are printed (when applicable) and posted in the restaurant.
Actively communicates with the FOH and BOH on all catering orders.
Ensure order accuracy, on-time deliveries, and payment methods.
Lead or assist in product sampling events.
Focus on food safety and maintain a clean and safe production environment .
Provide support operationally as needed.
Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
Communicate with catering guests in a professional and friendly manner that is consistent with Chick-fil-A vision and values.
Handle guest issues that may arise during the catering experience.
Work at additional distribution points.
Dedicate a few hours each week to meetings with Marketing Coordinator & Business Development Director.
Assist in marketing events as needed.
Knowledgeable of all Chick-fil-A products and procedures.
