Senior Lighting Specialist - Theatrical Integrator


Job Details

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Install theatrical lighting equipment, which involves tasks such as pulling control wire, terminating low voltage wiring, and programming systems.
  • Obtain and sustain certification as an Electronic Theatre Controls Installation Technician.
  • Engage directly with customers to address sales, installation, training, and servicing needs for both theatrical and architectural lighting systems.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD for both reading and creating technical drawings.
  • Perform physical tasks including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying items weighing over 50 lbs.
  • Adhere to safety protocols in existing or under-construction venues, including wearing personal protective equipment like hard hats, safety glasses, hi-vis vests, gloves, and steel-toed boots.
  • Carry out work at elevated heights using personnel lifts or scaffolding.
  • Be prepared for travel out of town and overnight stays in shared accommodations with colleagues.
  • Be flexible with overtime requirements as necessary.


Professional Qualities:

  • Strong proficiency in AutoCad to create and modify drawings.
  • Maintain polite, courteous, tactful communication with clients and company staff.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Punctual, responsible, have organized work habits and be able to keep up with deadlines and complete daily work on time.

Additional Information:


  • Full-time non-exempt position; pay range starting at $25.00- $30.00 per hour depending on experience, education, and training.
