WP Engine is seeking a Sr. Affiliate Partner Manager to foster impactful community partnerships and dramatically expand revenue opportunities for our affiliate/referral program! This person will seek out and evaluate new partnership opportunities with like-minded organizations, awe-inspiring agencies, and powerful community leaders, all while leading and fostering growth for our existing relationships. You'll play a pivotal role in helping us earn new revenue, drive engagement and traffic to our sites, and increase exposure and awareness for WP Engine's brand.

You'll be the central point of contact for our affiliate/referral program and will help lead all aspects of this massive marketing avenue, with a primary focus on curating relationships and encouraging growth for all-star partners. Other work will include outreach to relevant and high-potential partners, onboarding new partners, creating resources, streamlining existing processes, and strategizing creative initiatives and campaigns (whether that's targeted tweets or custom offers). You'll serve as a growth guide for our partners, small and large.

This role requires a self-starter who can get results quickly and doesn't mind rolling up their sleeves to do so. You'll be expected to contribute new ideas and discover opportunities to assist with our growth. You will also work closely with the rest of our digital team, designers, developers, and leadership to further develop and scale our global referral program.

The Day to Day:

  • Leading and growing relationships with our cool crop of existing partners through ongoing communication, mentoring, creative promotions, banner/landing page optimization, etc.
  • Identifying, evaluating, recruiting, and nurturing new referral partners and affiliates who want to shout about WP Engine from the top of the Internet
  • Writing content and leading creative initiatives that increase brand awareness, traffic, and revenue
  • Verifying, monitoring, and paying out affiliate commissions
  • Onboarding new referral partners to make sure they're all set up for success
  • Forecasting the potential marketing value, budget, time/scope/resources required, and return on investment on all partnership opportunities
  • Providing award-winning level support to internal and external business partners
  • Tracking results and performance to ensure the program is growing daily, weekly and month-over-month
  • Collaborating with our remarkable sales and marketing teams to plan and execute innovative promotional/sponsored campaigns

Your Skills and Expertise:
  • 3-5+ years of direct affiliate marketing or partner management experience; additional marketing and/or sales experience is a bonus!
  • Validated background in marketing, business development or sales
  • Demonstrated knowledge of common online marketing tactics, including SEO, PPC, marketing automation, social advertising, integrated campaigns, and other digital promotions
  • Strong track record of meeting and exceeding goals
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and previous experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Critical thinking skills to solve dynamic challenges with limited resources

Base Salary Range

$92,000.00 - $138,000.00

We believe that compensation should be reflective of the impact you have within the organization relative to the market value of your role. The estimated base salary range for this position is as listed above. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Our salary ranges are determined by job role and responsibilities and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for salaries for the position nationwide. The actual base pay will vary based on various factors including job-related skills and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
